Regret no children
under the age of eight years of age. Swallow's Rest is not
suitable for children.
One small - medium dog permitted in High Pike and Brae Fell,
after consultation with the owner. A small charge will be
raised. Dogs not permitted in Swallows Rest.
A tea tray to refresh
guests after their journey is waiting on their arrival,
together with a bottle of wine and homemade cakes/biscuits.

The cottages are under the
personal supervision of the owner, who endeavours to greet
all guests on arrival and shows them round the cottages.
There are many brochures and
leaflets in the cottages covering the Lake District,
Eden Valley,
Caldbeck, Carlisle and the Scottish Borders.
These give a comprehensive idea of places of interest to
visit during a stay. There is also a little booklet giving
some walks direct from High Greenrigg
House.

some sample menus is available in each cottage. Also information
about shopping facilities and little snippets of interesting walks,
tea rooms, etc. |
