During High Season, short breaks must not break up a two week period.
 
  • Discount of 5% off the weekly price of the second week if two weeks booked together.
  • Discount of 5% off weekly price for a party of five guests in Brae Fell.

PRICES INCLUDE:  
Bed linen, towels, electricity, gas, oil fired central heating.
There is a charge for laundry facilities.

Large Garden with garden furniture.

Ample Parking in former farm yard.

Sorry - Cottages are for non-smokers.

Regret no children under the age of eight years of age. Swallow's Rest is not suitable for children.

Also only one dog per cottage permitted. Dogs not permitted in Swallows Rest.

A tea tray to refresh guests after their journey is waiting on their arrival, together with a bottle of wine and homemade cake/biscuits.

The cottages are under the personal supervision of the owner who endeavours to greet all guests on arrival and show them round the cottages.

There are many brochures and leaflets in the cottages covering the Lake District, Eden Valley, Caldbeck, Carlisle and the Scottish Borders. These give a comprehensive idea of places of interest to visit during a stay. There is also a little booklet giving some walks direct from High Greenrigg House.

A 'Where to Dine File' together with some sample menus is available in each cottage. Also information about shopping facilities and little snippets of interesting walks, tea rooms, etc.
